Dr. Yeu Jin Baik founded 100 Dental Southlake because she wanted to practice dentistry on her own terms: thoroughly, honestly, and with the long-term health of each patient as the only measure of success. She chose this community because patients here genuinely value their oral health and take pride in their smiles, and that shared commitment is what makes the kind of thoughtful, relationship-driven dentistry she believes in possible.
Born in South Korea, Dr. Baik spent six years in China and time in Canada before moving to the United States in 2004. That international upbringing shaped both her global perspective and her multilingual ability. She is fluent in Korean and Mandarin Chinese.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Dr. Baik served as an active-duty soldier before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Before opening 100 Dental Southlake, she worked in an emergency dentistry setting where she managed some of the most urgent and complex cases a general dentist encounters. That experience sharpened her diagnostic instincts and gave her the ability to handle demanding clinical situations with calm confidence and precision.
Dr. Baik is Kois-trained, having completed advanced education at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, one of the most rigorous postgraduate programs in dentistry. Kois training means following structured diagnostic protocols that evaluate the full picture of a patient’s oral health, including bite, function, bone, and tissue, before any treatment is recommended. It is a methodology built around doing what is right for the patient long term, and it shapes every clinical decision Dr. Baik makes.
Her areas of clinical focus include implant dentistry, Invisalign, cosmetic procedures, and full-mouth rehabilitation. She is a top Invisalign provider and brings both technical precision and an artistic sensibility to smile transformation cases. She attends continuing education courses once or twice monthly and continues to give back through Mission of Mercy projects and local free dental clinics.
Outside the office, Dr. Baik enjoys exploring new coffee shops, connecting with the local community, and mentoring younger dentists. She believes that trust, education, and kindness are the foundation of excellent dental care, and she holds herself and her team to that standard every single day.
